A little about Jackie and 42 Pressed…

Welcome to 42 Pressed! We are a letterpress and design studio and are obsessed with just that, letterpress and design. Here at 42 Pressed, we design everything in house. You can either choose from our already existing wedding, baby or stationery collections, or you can work with us to make a complete customized design for whatever your letterpress heart desires. You imagine, we create, it’s really that simple! We love to take what you want, whether that be through pictures that you drew on napkins or that you flush out with us verbally, we will create a design that encompasses your vision, whole heartedly. Here at 42 Pressed, we are obsessed with literally branding YOU, while creating beautifully rendered designs that are modern and will speak to you directly. Basically, we strive to make you smile, but smile HUGE!

Our families, friends and our clients, have always told us that our work is different, and that all our pieces seem to speak to each and every one of them individually. We like to stray far from the ho-hum norm and keep things interesting, fresh and vintage-y. We draw from things that inspire us, Whatever our style is (cause it’s kind of all over the place in our collections) 42 Pressed strives to design invitation suites, announcements and stationery that really evoke emotion and stir within. With that being said, we can’t wait to hear from you, and help you with whatever your letterpress dreams might be! Until then!

42 Pressed was founded by Jackie Robinson. Cheers to Mr. Jackie Robinson, the baseball player, #42, (and Tyler, Jackie’s husband!) who gave us our fabulous name. When not printing and designing, she is an avid shark tooth finder, an outdoors-y at heart, loves the smell of a good fire, and is so at peace and fortunate to reside in a place where the ocean is plentiful. During the day, she is a creative, constantly needing to be inspired, while always taking the time to reflect within. Jackie discovered the art of letterpress - developed a little fling - and often toyed with the idea of opening her own shop. Then, a Vandercook 15-21 popped up in Indiana, and the rest is history. It became a full blown relationship (business and love) as Jackie went in for the buy and garnered her first press! She realized that this was her press and her press alone, and that marked the day when the fun of printing and the marriage with 42 Pressed really began!
